The Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center marks a critical step in the transformation and acceleration of personalized translational medicine, research and clinical care for cancer patients.

Weill Cornell Medicine’s Office of External Affairs seeks to recruit a dynamic, highly accomplished fundraiser to serve as the Principal Gifts Officer for the Meyer Cancer Center and the Englander Institute for Precision Medicine.  The ideal candidate will help capitalize on the successful efforts of WCM’s recent campaigns, and to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects for strategic growth in anticipation of the launch of a fundraising campaign in late 2019.

He or she will serve as a visible frontline fundraiser and maintain a portfolio of high-level prospects and donors of paramount importance to Weill Cornell. He or she will also lead a team of junior and mid-level fundraisers. This position’s primary focus is identifying, cultivating, soliciting, closing, and stewarding principal gifts ($2 million+). The PGO will work closely with esteemed faculty, high-level volunteers (e.g., board members), and staff to develop principal gift opportunities.

Weill Cornell has retained Freeman Philanthropic Services, LLC to assist on this recruitment.
