C. M. Peduto II (“Mike”) is a veteran of more than 30 years in business leadership. After spending 4 years on a land surveying crew with a Baltimore based civil engineering firm, Mike joined Verizon where he enjoyed a career of over 28 years. At Verizon, he developed a rich experience as successful leader of a wide variety of high performance, technology-focused Operations work teams involved in the Engineering, Construction, Ordering, Provisioning and Maintenance of telecom services – both Retail and Wholesale. Inside Verizon, his strong interpersonal skills and penchant for learning allowed him to become an accomplished expert in organization development, business process change leadership, labor relations, and team formation and development. Mike was a key member of the Verizon Bargaining Team during two successive Labor Contract negotiations.
In mid-2001, Mike left Verizon and founded Stevton Consulting, LLC. As Founder and Managing Principal of Stevton Consulting, Mike quickly established himself as an effective business consultant and telecom expert. Consulting in the Telecom space, Mike has worked to assess, design and re-engineer business processes. He has also testified, in the role of Expert Witness, before Public Utility Commissions around the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, as well as before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Staff.
>br/> Mike developed his keen interest in Career Management while leading large organizations at Verizon during the early 1990s. Post-Verizon, he served for almost 10 years, as a Certified Associate and Senior Facilitator in an adjunct role with Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH), working with clients in career transition to develop and execute a full life-cycle career search. This included creation of a resume and complete communications strategies, development and execution of a career personal marketing plan and life-like practice of winning interview and negotiations skills. After leaving LHH in 2011, Mike has worked with hundreds of private career clients, individual professionals usually connected by word of mouth and personal referrals, interested in moving their careers forward. Mike’s program, available in several different pricing schemes, involves important skill building using a variety of career management tools as well as a strong focus on networking. He leads the process but requires the client to do all the “heavy lifting.” Most all of his career clients go on to find fulfilling professional positions and remain long-term members of his network!
Mike is a trained Mediator, completing over 80 hours of training, and works with a national mediation training organization (Mediation Training International, Inc.) as a certified coach of new mediators-in-training.
