Robert McMinn brings to Freeman Philanthropic Services, L.L.C. (FPS) a broad range of skills and experience in communications, advocacy, fundraising, and project management developed in over three decades of working with not-for-profit organizations in the areas of mental health and social services, public policy, arts and culture, and philanthropy.
Robert has been a well known advocate and educator in food justice and urban agriculture through a radio show and podcast he produced as well as appearances at libraries and community gardens. He was also one of the first registered NYC Greenmarket performers, singing in seven languages and offering “speed ukulele lessons” using a unique (and now imitated) method he developed at street fairs and special events in New York City.
Learning, understanding and knowledge sharing have always been Robert’s main life goals and being a part of the bridging of people and cultures a lifetime passion. He is very excited about the opportunity to help FPS connect extraordinary talent with exceptional institutions.
