Jerad L. McMickle is an Executive Recruiter for Freeman Philanthropic Services, LLC. At FPS, he manages the logistics and timeline for recruitment, accounting, and contracts. In coordination with the President, Gail L. Freeman, he helps manages all relationships with current and former clients and candidates.
A native of Florida, Jerad moved to New York City after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Hamilton College.
Jerad has served as a not-for-profit volunteer across the East Coast. He participated in community service trips to work with the Habitat for Humanity in Greensboro, NC and the Refugee Urban Agriculture Initiative in Philadelphia, PA to help provide refugees with access to sustainable food and affordable housing. While attending his alma mater, Hamilton College, he served as the volunteer liaison between the College and Utica Public Library to design and execute a weekly literacy program for children with Down syndrome, a program which he led for two years. In his home county of Pasco County, FL, Jerad volunteered regularly with the Lion’s Club.
At Hamilton, Jerad led and organized the New Student Orientation program in 2018, which introduced 500 first-year and transfer students to the Hamilton community over a two-week period. He also worked at the Hamilton College Career Center for four years. During his tenure, he helped manage a team of 30 student staff to provide career counseling and large-scale programming to the student body. Alongside his management responsibilities, he taught 50 workshops, led dozens of events, and met individually with 100 students to provide career guidance. During his time at Hamilton, Jerad spent a semester abroad in Prague, Czech Republic.
In his spare time, Jerad enjoys traveling to find the best donuts in NYC and exploring parks with his friends.
